This is the B side of the Dovetail Records 'Doves 1' 1982 seven inch single Walrus - Forget The Tears/Centrifuge.Ed Wynne of Ozric Tentacles/Nodens Ictus/The Ed Wynne Band plays guitar on the A side with Warwick Embury on 'Forget The Tears' and the promo video for that is on youtube already
But,as far as i know,this is the first time the B side track 'Centrifuge' has been digitized and put out there.This was written and recorded by Ed Wynne and Gavin Griffiths and the following year they'd both go on to play in Ozric Tentacles before Gavin later left to play in The Ullulators.
So,i think,this was the first ever vinyl release by two very talented musicians who'd go on to be very prolific in the U.K. underground/festival/psychedelic/space rock scene and who are still making great music today.
Enjoy this early taste of what was to come and the copyright is all theirs of course.
