I did plan on improving this but I never really got around to it, so I'll upload this for the time being.

Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu, also known as Dodonpachi Resurrection, is the fourth game in the Dodonpachi series.

Like all Dodonpachi games, it has chaining. Killing enemies raises the vertical meter in the top left and not killing anything lowers it. If the meter fully empties, then you break the chain. Lasering big enemies or lasers makes the meter remain filled at a tiny amount. The meter gets filled with different amounts depending on whether you killed the enemy with shot or laser. Like every Dodonpachi game (except for the first), chaining is more lenient in the 2nd loop. It's important to mention that the chain only immediately gets reset to 0 if you break it while having a full hyper meter, otherwise it will rapidly decrease. Bombs and autobombs immediately reset it to 0 regardless.

Like Daioujou, this game has hypers. When the horizontal meter in the top-left gets full, you can use a hyper. You fill it naturally by killing and lasering enemies, but the more important ways to raise it are by pointblanking and picking up green bees.

Hypers in this game drastically increase your firepower but can also cancel bullets for Hits. However the bullets will get harder to cancel for each consecutive hyper you use. This is because of the Hyper Rank. It starts at level 1 and maxes at level 5. Using a hyper increases it by 1 and dying and manual bombing lowers it by 1. Autobombs do not decrease the Hyper Rank. Furthermore, more Danger lasers will spawn at higher ranks. Like any laser in the game, you have to push these back by using your own laser.

In the 1st loop Hyper Rank gets reset to 1 at the start of every stage. You can circumvent this by killing the boss with a level 5 hyper and carrying that into the next stage, since you'll get more Hits that way.
The Ura loop however locks you into Hyper Rank 5 at the start of every stage. This is absolutely devastating in the loop so you really want to lower it and carry a level 1 into the next stage.

For scoring you want to jack up the Hit count with hypers as much as possible at the start of a stage and then chain the rest of the stage outside of hyper. The Hit counter only serves as a hidden multiplier at certain ground marks. These are:
500 Hit - x2
1000 Hit - x3
5000 Hit - x5
10000 Hit - x7
Once you reach 10k Hits you don't really need to increase it any further.

YOU ONLY GET SCORE IF YOU'RE OUTSIDE OF HYPER AND HAVE A FULL HYPER METER.
This is probably the most important thing to remember.
Killed enemies get added to the Get Point value of the chain so you really want to kill valuable enemies outside of hyper with a full hyper meter.

Conditions to enter the Ura loop are:
Collect all 45 hidden bees.
Don't bomb more than twice (this includes autobombs).
Don't die more than once (this only applies to Power Style).

You uncover hidden bees by lasering them. They cycle between green and orange. Green bees give you 33% hyper meter, orange bees give you a negligible score bonus and you get both if the bee is flashing.

In order to get all the bees, you need to go through the Ura route of the 1st loop. You do this destroying all the silos at the start of the game before the big tanks run over them. The Ura route takes you to alternate parts of the stages with more bees and all the midbosses are replaced by the bosses from the first Dodonpachi.

The biggest change in the loop is that cancelled bullets with the hyper now shoot suicide bullets at you. It gets extremely overwhelming at higher Hyper Ranks. At the boss of a stage you really want to bomb/suicide your Hyper Rank back to level 1.
Pointblanking doesn't nearly raise the hyper meter as much as it does in the 1st loop either.
