The Association of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary Celebrates its Feast Day

• The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary was celebrated on June 9, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles, Kasana, Kubwa Expressway, Abuja.
• The celebration began with a Holy Mass which was concelebrated by Rev Fathers Moses Jimbili and George Julius. It was attended by members of the Association of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary from the Archdiocese of Abuja.
• In his homely, Rev Fr Moses Jimbili, and the Archdiocesan Spiritual Director, spoke on the consciousness of St. Paul in his last letter and admonished the members to be steadfast in their faith.
• Amb. Martin Uhmoibhi, who is 33 years old in the Association and some other members had chats with the media on the essence of the Feast.
• There was a solemn recitation of the Act of Reparation, seeking pardon and atonement by voluntary expiation through the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mother.
• The Association’s hierarchy and guest led the Thanksgiving procession of the 7 individual Deaneries of Garki, Karu, Kubwa, karmo, Gwagwalada, Bwari, and Wuse to the Altar.
• A reception followed after the Mass and the cutting of the Feast Cake
