Have you been arrested in Florida? If so you most likely have been issued a bond, which is an amount of money you can post that is intended to assure the Court that you will return for your court dates.

What few know is that in Florida you also may get subjected to a "Nebbia" hold, which is an order from the Judge that before allowing you to be released on bond, you have to show the Judge that the source of funds used to post the bond is not derived from an illegal source.

This type of hold can effectively keep people in jail without giving them the ability to be released until a judge is satisfied the funds are not acquired illegally.
