Convicted criminals could soon be named and shamed on neighbourhood crime maps - in an attempt to show the public that criminals are being brought to justice.

A pilot scheme is currently being run by police in West Yorkshire

The Home Office Minister Nick Herbet says the scheme will enhance already existing internet crime maps.
