Hiking Active Volcano in BANDA NEIRA | Gunung Api 🇮🇩

Today, Antho and I set off to hike Gunung Api, the huge active volcano that I've been staying on for the past 5 days. I definitely wanted to climb up it before I left Banda Neira. I'm so glad I did, but I have to say, it was probably the most difficult hike I've ever been on. It is literally just straight up the volcano. There is no weaving or winding your way up. Just Up, and Down. But when you get to the top, oh man there is one hell of a view. The view looking over Neira is incredible, but the one that took my breath away and sent chills down my spine was looking into the huge crater left behind after the eruption in 1988. It is just massive! Such a cool adventure and experience.
