Why I failed at creating a video game

Hey! this is a devlog that I made for a project that I worked on for a long time.
I made this video towards the end of 2023, almost a year ago. Due to a lot of different reasons, I wasn't able to upload it and kind of forgot about these video projects. But I figured I should just put it out anyway if I want to keep making these at some point.

Life can take a lot of unexpected turns, and its easy for things to get away from you and to get pulled in lots of different directions. Our plans will change, as everything must.

This video details some of my background and early projects, and introduces a game I worked on from about 2020-2022. Some of the reasons I stopped working on it were due to engine complications, buggy software, a failing computer, work and a lack of interest.

I do have plans to someday return to this project and give it another try, but I think there's a lot of lessons to be learned in what went wrong with this attempt.
