2022 Live Review 7 | AP Spanish Literature | El Boom Latinoamericano

In this AP Daily Live Review session, we will review how to use strategies that allow us to write a well-developed essay or short response based on the required reading for Unit 7. We will connect the historical and sociocultural context of the “Boom latinoamericano” to the themes and the particular style of each author, while reviewing the literary concepts related to the narration of this unit.

We will focus our attention on the structure of the four Free Response Questions of the exam and the importance of creating a thesis that states the purpose. We will also review how to present well-chosen evidence to support our ideas, as well as the need for appropriate vocabulary. At the end of the review session, we will be able to explain, analyze, and compare how multiple literary elements and narrative techniques from the “Boom latinoamericano” reflect the revolutionary perspective of the 20th century.
