🔬 Test Principle

A needle-shaped flame is applied to the test specimen for a specified duration (10, 20, or 30 seconds). The behavior of the material is observed to check ignition, flame spread, and self-extinguishing characteristics.

Pass / Fail Criteria:
✔ Pass – Sample self-extinguishes within 30 seconds and does not ignite surrounding materials
✖ Fail – Flame persists beyond 30 seconds or spreads to nearby objects
