Heres my photos of my acne journey while taking spironolactone.

It took me a long time to upload this because it's so embarrassing and i hate acne. But i'm hoping this will give others hope and see that there are things to help :)

I tried every topical cream from differin, adapalene, and some products from acne.org that I was hopeful would work. I tried antibiotics but they didn't work and made me feel really sick. At one point my acne was so bad i was just so depressed and didn't want to leave the house or do anything. Spironolactone has been a miracle product and has really worked for me! It did make me feel EXTREMELY thirsty and i had to pee 10x more than usual, but thats the worst side effects i got and it was worth it for the results i got.

During this i also cut back on DAIRY and noticed a major difference. I drank less milk and noticed I would get less breakouts right away.

My skin still isn't perfect, I now have dark spots and some scars but it's 100% better than having acne.
