From aeration to pneumatic conveying - low pressure compressed air is essential for many applications across a diverse range of industries. Whether that be a wastewater treatment plant or a mine site for example, the different types of blower technology available for generating compressed air are many and varied: rotary lobe blowers, rotary screw blowers and turbo blowers, to name but a few. Selecting the optimum solution for any given application therefore requires careful consideration of each technology from an engineering perspective.

Operating an energy optimised plant has never been so important, with sustainability taking centre stage for many operations. As compressed air is one the most energy intensive utilities, due attention should therefore also be placed on understanding and assessing the energy efficiency opportunities of any given blower solution.
