Описание к видео How To Make Gel Color Petal Dust | Gel vs. Liquid Food Color

Here's a video on how to make homemade petal dust using gel color that we normally buy from the baking store, when in fact, you can do it on your own. We will also discuss the difference between liquid food color vs. gel food color in this video.

Petal dust is best used whenever we are making floral designs on cakes. Whether you are designing flowers made in fondant or made in gumpaste, or even flowers made of edible prints and rice papers.

Petal dust is a type of decorating powder used in cake and candy decorating to add color to desserts. There are some ways on making petal dust and in this video, we are trying to compare the three usual recipes in making one. We are comparing petal dust made of gel food color and water, petal dust made of gel food color, and Vodka and petal dust made of liquid food color.

The only recipe for this is 1 tablespoon cornstarch, plus 1/4 teaspoon of Vodka or 1 teaspoon of water or some drops of liquid food color. All processes are in the video.
