Singapore National Day Parade 2024 - 21 gun salute

Those of us who can't get tickets to watch the NDP often go to Marina Bay or Merlion Park to watch the gun salute, airplanes & fireworks.

In particular, Singapore's version of the gun salute is unique in that the artillery guns are mounted on an amphibious platform.

Unfortunately, it rained heavily barely 1 hour before the parade, and dark clouds still remained, so there's not much wind to clear gun smoke & lighting was bad. Nevertheless, the parade still continued on.

The audio of the crowd talking has been removed and replaced with "Standing Victorious", the slow march song that they played in the Padang. Unfortunately, some screams can't be removed without affecting the gun firing noise.
