An enthusiastic group of 100+ Yi Yuva volunteers and Team Raj Nivas led by Lt. Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi planted 130 saplings around the perimeter of Velrampet Lake, one of the largest lakes in Puducherry. The aim was to bring back tree cover that has been lost in the past. This has helped to make the landscape of the Velrampet Lake more beautiful and resilient.
