A new event is now live for Version 1.3 in Zenless Zone Zero and it's called "Virtual Battlefield Mayhem" where players have to help a special Bangboo defeat enemies inside the VR System and awaken an intelligent construct. New challenges will unlock each succeeding day and they are divided into three difficulties namely Alliance, Frontline, and Special Offensive. There will be tactical buffs that each stage must trigger to get an S-Rank, so players will have to consider their team comps.

This speedrun/walkthrough guide will show the correct strategy and team comp in completing each stage in all difficulties while using trial characters to get an S-Rank, to obtain all available rewards including Polychromes, and other in-game resources. On the first day of the event, the challenge is focused on "Defense".
