The front end's off a Suzuki GS1000 with an AP Lockheed twin piston caliper, the wheels are Italian eighteen inchers and that thing sticking out of the engine is a CV40 with a Rough Crafts air cleaner.

It's one of the last to have points ignition although it doesn't have a kick start, which is a shame, especially if the regulator packs up.

These little Harleys have a bad rep, especially the late seventies ones, but they're perfect for UK roads. They were developed in the fifties as an answer to the British bikes which were dominating US racing at the time, and it shows. I used to have a 1963 BSA Golden Flash back in the nineties and this feels very similar.



I call it Donald, because it goes trump trump trump.
