This clip was written about in the 1992 Spring issue of The Vellum. I quote,
"Alan appeared on the "Jim'll Fix it" show which will be screened on TV in the
spring 92. One young boy of around nine years of age had requested that he would
like to play the ukulele like George Formby. Alan was asked to go along to present
him with a uke and give him his first lesson.
Alan will be appearing at the South Pier, Blackpool, from around July 92 for
approximately 16 weeks. Others on the bill are Frankie Vaughan and The Kay Sisters".
