In this English pronunciation lesson, I go through the second sound of the British English phonetic alphabet chart, the phoneme /I/, or as I call it, the 'ih' sound. Technically, it's called the near-close near-front unrounded vowel.

The video will explain the basic sound, as well as its most common allophone.

This is the second in a series of short videos which will look at every sound found in the phonetic alphabet chart.

As I'm trying to produce videos of improved quality, I've been focusing quite a lot on the sound quality. The audio in this video probably sounds a bit different from my last video.
