A shocking and brutal murder has taken place in Siddipet district, Telangana. A Congress leader was murdered in the outskirts of Rajakkapet village in Dubbak mandal.

The deceased, Bal Reddy, previously served as the Farmers’ Coordination Committee President and had joined the Congress party two years ago after leaving BRS. Police suspect that old land disputes are the primary reason behind the murder.

Siddipet ACP Ravinder Reddy and CI Rajesh visited the crime scene and collected evidence. During preliminary investigation, police identified Renuka Reddy and her son Sonu Reddy as the accused in the murder.

Renuka Reddy has surrendered at the police station, while Sonu Reddy is currently absconding. Police have launched a manhunt to trace him. A case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the victim’s family members.
