Rate Analysis: The process of determining rate of any work in Civil Engineering project like earthwork, concrete work, brickwork, plastering, painting etc. is known as Analysis of Rates or simply Rate Analysis.
The rates of these works further help in determining cost of particular work and in turn cost of the project.

In this video the Calculation of Plastering & Pointing is carried out as follows:
1) Determine the Rate Analysis of 12mm Plastering with proportion 1:6. Take 10 cu m.
2) Determine the Rate Analysis of pointing with proportion 1:2. Take 10 cu m
