Financial services giant Fidelity has filed for a new fund with the Securities and Exchange Commission where assets will be stored on blockchains like Ethereum.

Fidelity Treasury Digital Fund is an OnChain class of the fund that currently uses the Ethereum network as the public blockchain. In the future, the fund may use other public blockchain networks, subject to eligibility and other requirements that the fund may impose.

The fund will consist of cash and U.S. bonds.

The Adviser normally invests at least 99.5% of the fund’s total assets in cash and U.S. Treasury securities.

In addition, the Adviser normally invests at least 80% of the fund’s assets in U.S. Treasury securities.

Ethereum's price rose above $2,000 benefiting from the positive move across the stock and crypto market.

The second largest cryptocurrency recently faced a 57% correction from highs above $4,000. Since then, the buyers have reclaimed the $1900 support level as it aims towards $2,200 next.

In case of a downside, targets toward $1,500 get exposed. However, the momentum is clearly to the upside until $1,900 support breaks.
