Hunter x Hunter has a BIG Problem

I am on episode 120 of Hunter Hunter, so pretty deep into the Chimera Ant Arc … and I’m probably never watching it again. Which sucks. Cause wow people love this anime. So to a lot of you y'all aren’t gonna like this one. To me watching Hunter Hunter has become kind of a chore. I kept watching thinking I’m gonna like it. I have to like it. Everyone likes it. I didn’t like it. I can’t shake the feeling while watching Hunter Hunter that I’m being treated like a child. And not in the good way of childhood nostalgia and joy but of the stupidity of a child who isn’t expected or trusted to understand anything slightly complicated. So yea I’m done watching. Hunter Hunter has a major problem that I just can’t get past.
