There’s a massive difference between someone wrestling with questions and someone waving the banner of skepticism as if it’s spiritual maturity.

Jesus never once applauded unbelief. He constantly called people into faith—“Do not doubt, only believe” (Mark 5:36). And the only time unbelief was met with compassion was when it was acknowledged and actively rejected by the one who confessed it:

“I believe; help my unbelief.” (Mark 9:24)

That father wasn’t celebrating his doubt. He was bringing it to Jesus for healing.

So why have we started treating unbelief like it’s a virtue? Why are we platforming deconstruction like it’s the next step of spiritual maturity?

We don’t need to romanticize doubt.
We need to remember that Jesus marveled at great faith—not at the lack of it.

Unbelief is never neutral. It blinds, it delays, it divides. But when we bring it to Jesus in humility and repentance, He’s faithful to tear the veil.

Let’s be a people that call each other into deeper faith, not into naturalism dressed in theological language.

Let’s love the doubter, but refuse to pet doubt.
