"How does UX fit into Agile?
Some things just don't seem to go together.
Some people understand UX.
Some understand Agile.
But I have yet to come across a project that knows how they work together. I spend a LOT of time ironing this out on projects and by then it is often too late. Many UXers simply compromise their work to avoid the arguments caused by the self-evident problems of shoe-horning everything into Agile.
But there is a way. In fact there has always been a way, and the manifesto signatories laid it out for us even before we wondered "How does UX fit into Agile?"
In this presentation I review the UX process and purpose.
I review the Agile process, it's history and purpose.
We look at how they are both used in the project lifecycle to create optimal value and thus how they help each other.
Where each starts and ends and how they interact.
It's simple, clear, self-evident and very effective.
It saves time, money, repetition, failure and it accelerates the Agile process.

You probably won't be expecting what I present, but many organisations (and developers) have had ah-ha! moments upon seeing this and changed the way they work.
