At 35 years old, Nicole was surprised by a heart failure diagnosis – something her doctor rarely saw in someone so young. She attributed her fatigue and other symptoms to the demands of full-time work and being a mom. But tests revealed her heart’s ejection fraction was dangerously low at 20% (far below the normal range of 50–70%).

Through rehab and nutrition education, she lost weight, reduced her need for diabetes medication and significantly improved her heart function.
