The service lets drivers rent a Tesla for up to seven days, with unlimited mileage, free Supercharging, and Full Self-Driving (Supervised) included — all managed through the Tesla app.

If approved in Michigan, daily rental pricing is expected to stay the same: $60 for a Model 3 or Model Y, $75 for a Cybertruck, and $90 for a Model S or Model X. Only Premium trims are available for rent, and the maximum rental period is one week.

Tesla is also offering a $250 discount toward the purchase of a new vehicle if renters order one within a week of returning the rental. It’s part of Tesla’s push to turn test drives into full-fledged ownership experiences.

There’s no word yet on exactly when the Michigan program will go live, but the company has confirmed the California program didn’t end — it just hit capacity. Tesla says more locations are coming soon.
