If you don't know about me already, I'm an independent recording/performing artist. I have a modest but growing buzz, and I throw my own shows from time to time. Here is everything I learned by getting out there and taking the whole project on. I made about $1300 from this show, $700 of it being profit after paying everyone else. Ideally you want to take some of that profit and use it to promote your next show, and so on and so forth. Then you have a momentum, which turns into a business. Hope this helps ALL performing artists of any genre.
