I have been using the old reliable INTLLab 1-position magnetic stir plate for over 3 years and it's still going strong but I needed something more suitable for the amount of jars I have. I have wanted one of these 6-position stir plates for a while, but the price tag is usually close to $1000 so to find one of these for $300, I couldn't pass it up. I love the display and how you can program the RPM of each position individually and watch the live increase of RPM.

I have over 1000 jars that need to be stirred occasionally, so this will speed things up and save me some time.
