Silent Hill 2 - Modern Camera Mod - Preview 2

Okay so, let me say this: this one is being very tough. It's probably the hardest one so far. Good news is, I've been making lots of progress these past days.

The camera twitching is gone now, which is great. It's smooth as butter. The custom camera also gets disabled during cutscenes just like my SH3 and SH4 mods, which was actually a lot harder to do than I expected. I also added the camera collision (the function is identical to SH3's!), and of course, some improvements on the way manual aiming works. The rotation of the player's torso is smooth now when you start or stop aiming (it was really snappy before). Something that does annoy me is that the crosshair doesn't always align with the actual trajectory of bullets, so it still requires some calculation on the player's part. Not sure if that's good or bad, but that's for you to decide. Using the shotgun is super satisfying though, and some melee weapons are too, specially Maria's knife thingy. Anyway, this is coming along pretty well so far, so stay tuned for the release, which will most likely be next month.

Also, yep, I'm using the Enhanced Edition on the video (my mod is 100% compatible with it).
