Here is a quick video on how to get out of the safe mode loop on your iphone/ipod running IOS 5, the safe mode loop is cause by incompatible apps downloaded from cydia. What you do is delete the last app you installed before the safe mode loop started happening and then follow my video.
Here are the steps:
1. Delete the incompatible app from cydia
2. Add Source; http://repo.insanelyi.com/
3. Tap the insanlyi source and find Mobile Terminal (new)
4. Open Mobile Terminal once its installed and type in the following;
su root
the password is alpine by default
then type apt-get install com.sull.sysclean
and after that type
apt-get autoremove
and it will ask you to type in Y if you want to continue, so do that
5. Once that is done tap the top bar and hit restart like you would to get out of safe mode and it should boot up normally. If it doesnt then that means you have another cydia app that isnt compatible
