Considering the Sidecar is a classic cocktail, it stands to reason there would be a standardized, unassailable recipe for this sour, but no such luck. While historians and bartenders have debated the proper proportions of Cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice for this drink, there remains disagreement over the best recipe.
