Metallica's RTL Tone - Victory Kraken MkII & Torpedo Captor X Marshall Cab With G12-65 Speakers

I always come back to this tone in some way or another. It was part of the soundtrack to my youth and the songs are all so fun to play. I love the fact it was a Marshall base tone and sounded so cool.
The Victory Kraken is an absolute monster of an amp, the straight up tone is perfect and seems to capture so many great tones with ease. I feel I never have to fight it to dial in what I want. I've been a Marshall fan boy for so many years and the 800 is an all time favourite but the Kraken sounds better. I never thought I'd say that but it's the truth.
As far as the cabinet goes, I was happy to find the Dave Friedman g12 412 in the Two Notes store. The age of the cab being late 70's seems to fit the era and complete the tone in a plausible way. I couldn't simulate the Sm7 mic to go with it but it's only marginally different to the Sm57.

To install them on your katana mkii, the easiest way is to drag the downloaded files to your desktop.
Open up the tone studio with your katana connected and go to the top right corner and click the down arrow. Locate your file and it'll bring it into your library where you can drag them across to the katana :)
