This track is both a love letter and a parody—a way of exploring one of Warhammer 40,000’s most mysterious factions while asking a tongue-in-cheek question: what if the Silent King wasn’t quite so silent?

The Necrons are an ancient, unknowable race, their minds fragmented across millennia. Some retain sharp memories of their flesh, others only shadows of what they once were. In this parody, we imagine what might stir beneath all that cold metal: not only war, but rhythm. A Tomb King with a musical orientation, weaving rave-light and cosmic bass through his legions.

Lasers, after all, have always been at the Necron core—monolith beams, gauss fire, dazzling arcs of energy. Here, those same beams become an interstellar lightshow. Marching becomes choreography. The awakening of tombs becomes a stage reveal. And across the galaxy, the unknowable takes on the surreal shape of a rave.

One of the keystone visuals is the Necrons at the club table, playing cards and drinking—a deliberate callback to “Dogs Playing Poker.” In-universe, it’s a half-remembered echo of their former flesh, the kind of simple pleasure long forgotten. These glimpses of memory, absurd though they may seem, remind us that beneath the steel and circuitry was once a living being. The result is campy, eerie, and oddly human.

So yes—it’s funny, but it’s also about memory, identity, and performance. What would it look like if the galaxy’s most mysterious undead machine-race took the stage and turned their unknowable silence into an eternal beat?
