In this episode, we are leaving George Town. Initially, we planned to go to Calabash Bay, Long Island, which is about 5 hours sailing. While we were in George Town, however, the weather window of opportunity to go for far distance surfaced.

Our original plan of this sailing season was/ is to reach Antigua. At the beginning of this season, we lost a few weeks and we thought it would not be possible..., until then. On this particular journey leaving George Town, we will decide where to go next, but it was not easy. George Town is known as "Chicken Town" and there is a reason for it. It's not easy because after George Town, islands are far apart surrounded by shallow reefs. Many people go for distance by looping through Atlantic with many over nights straight to Caribbean.

I was not emotionally ready for doing such long distance and I did not want to miss the rest of the Bahamas. Between my wish and incredibly favorable weather opportunity to go for distance to end this season in Antigua, where did we end up reaching? You will find out.
