I just had a conversation with someone who was shaming herself for not knowing how to deal with shame. Have you ever done that? I have. But has anyone ever actually taught you how to deal with shame? Or any of the strong, difficult emotions. If not, why would you expect that you should be able to do something that you've never been taught or shown how to do? Just a thought that might deflate a bit of the shame.
