The Blue Cat swims beneath the sea,
Where bubbles twinkle playfully.
He blinks—what’s that above the tide?
A fish with wings, who loves to glide!

Its silver fins shine in the light,
It laughs and leaps in joyful flight.
“Hi, Blue Cat! Come play with me—
I fly and splash so wild and free!”

Hop up high! The fish takes flight.
Hop to the side! A funny sight!
Hop once more! What a view!
The Blue Cat twirls and joins him too!

“How do you fly?” asks Blue with awe.
The fish just smiles without a flaw.
“My fins help, sure—but more than that,
I just believe, and off I flap!”

The Blue Cat stops and shuts his eyes,
He flaps his paws and starts to rise!
He floats up high, then swoops back down,
And spins with joy all upside down!

Hop up high! The fish takes flight.
Hop to the side! A funny sight!
Hop once more! What a view!
The Blue Cat twirls and joins him too!

Then paw in fin, they glide back slow,
Down to the ocean deep below.
“Thank you, friend,” says Blue with glee,
“I’ll meet you next time in the breeze!”
