Pat, Gary and Jimmy Breaux were the musician sons of Preston Breaux, who was the son of Amédé Breaux, one of the famed Breaux Frères, whose sister was Cleoma (Breaux) Falcon. Cleoma and her brothers were key figures in early recordings of Cajun music in the 1920s and 30s. Amédé’s son Preston became a guitarist, and his three sons followed musical careers. Pat played accordion and saxophone and was a member of Red Beans and Rice Revue and Lil' Band O' Gold. Gary was a drummer and accordion player. Jimmy played drums and accordion and was a member of Beausoliel for over 20 years. Pat and Gary had three singles issued on Cajun Jamboree in the 1960s, featuring their father, Preston, on guitar.
