Lousã’s mountain range combines an area of unique cultural and human richness, breath-taking natural settings and countless leisure possibilities that its landscape provides. It is the perfect spot for your KTM holidays! Home to deer, wild boar, squirrels, foxes and eagles that peek through splendorous cork oaks, chestnut and pine trees forests. Crossed by a lot of surprising water streams and numerous pedestrian and mountain biking trails with superb paths leading to various imposing places of interest such as Lousã Castle or Senhora da Piedade, the famous rocks from Góis or Alto do Trevim, that stands at 1204 m high - all places with almost surreal views as you can imagine that places at these altitude would offer!

This area is also famous for the high number of high-quality river beaches as well as for the numerous schist villages which traces of occupation go back to prehistoric times. The Schist Villages Network consists of 27 villages in the heart of Portugal, the interior of the Central Region. After a recent intervention these villages gained new life with more inhabitants and being chosen as stage of several events like mountain biking challenges or International renowned events like the International Six Days of Enduro, ISDE or the World Rally Championships which brings in many practitioners and a healthy liveliness that the inhabitants love and are already getting used to.
