Here we learn several different ways to perform a standing dunk. We start out with the basics as far as how the mechanics work and then work our way up to some advanced stuff as shown in the title picture. The key to being successful performing a standing dunk his to get the basics down and then work your way up to spots where you can find advanced moves based on how the defense is playing you.

While it is true that you cannot perform a standing dunk where is former MVP Steve Nash. If you have a low dunk rating of around let's say 40 you can perform a standing dunk if there are no defenders around you and you are in the circle below the net. The best way to get an idea of a player's range of dunking below the net is to go into practice mode and test out what you can and cannot do. Obviously NBA 2K 20 player ratings will drive what options are available to you. When you're playing in a game how the defense is playing you will also impact whether or not you can dunk. So in short it's much easier to dunk in practice mode length in a game situation. However it is best to start out in practice mode that way you get an idea of the basics and then you can test or improve on that when you get to gameplay. Thanks for watching and good luck!
