Truth be told, Dead Presidents is one of my least favorite effects with many traders agreeing. This is good for you if you like it as you'll be able to pick them up for cheap. It's bad though if you're stuck with one or don't have a lot of money to spend. But Dead Presidents is still an orbiting effect, and there are some great things you can do with those to make some combos -

Multiple Orbiting Effects: There are four directions orbiting effects go - normal, fast, reverse, and wherever it wants to go. Mixing a few of those together will make your head extra busy looking and probably more impressive.

More of the Same: One Dead Presidents isn't too impressive, but if you can get two or especially three now you're talking! Three of the same effect isn't too common and takes some work so it will look pretty fancy.

Overhead Effects: All orbiting effects go well with the overhead effects because they orbit around them. Whether it's Stormy Storm, Harvest Moon, Amaranthine, or Death at Dusk they'll all have a new little buddy dancing around them.

Another thing about Orbiting Effects is how the game spawns them changes every time. Sometimes they'll be on top of each other like Flaming Lantern in the video, other times on opposite sides as Aces High was. On rare occasions this can lead to problems with the effect being spawn in the wrong place (off to the side of your head), in a larger circle (sometimes the whole level), or not at all (Orbiting Planets was glitched away for a while). This can make creating replays harder too.

But don't let that stop you from getting your favorite effects or working with what you've got. Even if you have a combo of Dead Presidents, Aces High, and Orbiting Fire you can make heads turn and go "hot diggity dog that fellow has three unusuals on!"
