Those who dwell in the Word are equipped with divine power to overcome every attack through truth and righteousness.

Scripture testifies to the power and purpose of God’s Word as a sword:

• Hebrews 4:12 – “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…”
• Revelation 1:16 – “…coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword.”
• Isaiah 49:2 – “He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me.”
• Jeremiah 23:29 – “‘Is not my word like fire,’ declares the Lord, ‘and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?’”
• 2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
