How to paint car parts like a PRO!

I painted my front lip, side skirts, lip spoiler and diffuser using this method and I could not have been happier with it. The finish looks MINT and I saved over $500 doing it myself. The quotes I was getting from body shops all ranged from $800-$1200 but her is how much I payed for everything I used:

Adhesion promoter @ $10.99 each : 2 cans = $21.98
Flat black primer @ $7.98 each : 2 cans = $15.96
Gloss black base coat @ $7.98 each : 4 cans = $31.92
Clear coat @ $7.98 each : 4 cans = $31.92

Sandpaper 400 grit @ $2.99 each : 4x = $11.96
Sandpaper 600 grit @ $2.99 each : 4x = $11.96

Spray gun can holder : $8

Sanding disk kit (not necessary) : $21.46

GRAND TOTAL OF $155.16 which is over $600 in savings and trust me, you will have fun doing it too. Just a heads up, Sanding is the most annoying part of the whole process but take your time and do it right the first time. :)
