NVIDIA FIXES STARFIELD with new drivers! | Free Performance Boost

The new NVIDIA drivers have been released, and they improve performance in Starfield on GeForce graphics cards. The question is - how much?

In my case, on an RTX 3080 at 4K resolution, performance has improved by around 3-15% depending on the location. On average, I'd say that with the new drivers, performance has gone up by about 10%. Considering it's just a driver update, that's quite decent, and I recommend all GeForce card owners to update to the latest version.

I've also noticed some changes in the graphics, although they're not anything significant. Minor differences in shadow intensity, sometimes slightly different (not necessarily better) light reflections, and some variations in contrast. However, these things might be more due to the game's inherent randomness rather than the drivers. But I'm not entirely certain as I haven't thoroughly investigated it.

Optimization in this game isn't the best, and it runs significantly worse on NVIDIA cards compared to AMD's Radeons. So, it's good to see efforts to improve performance from both modders and NVIDIA. Perhaps now it's time for Bethesda to roll out a substantial game update?
