The 13th running of Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival took place at the Royal Exhibition Building Carlton, on April 26-28 2024.

With an all time record of 437 exhibiting tattoo artists, Rites of Passage has solidified itself as the Southern Hemisphere's LARGEST gathering of artists at a consumer festival.

The 2024 Melbourne lineup consisted of some of Australia and the world's heavy hitters in tattooing, featuring:
Mick Squires, Harrison Tattoos, Jake Danielson, Prime Ink, Kiwa Tattoo, Kristian Kimonides, The Leisure Bandit, HanyTattooStyle, Chris Rigoni, Ben Thomas, DBKaye, Insamnia, Matt Mooney, Trevor McStay, Alessio Vanzan, Brendan Boz, Horitsugu, Hayden Thompson, Kaiden Richards, Troy Slack and Peste to mention a few.

On the back of the success of the Melbourne event, Rites of Passage is relaunching in Sydney at an all new location, Carriageworks, where we will be bringing all of the things you love about our Melbourne event to the heart of Sydney. Tattoos, Music, Art Exhibitions and Activations, Live DJ's and Food Trucks.
