Myanmar Inle Lake Sunset Boat Trip to see Fishermen of Inle Lake in Burma

At the end of my first day in the Inle Lake region of Myanmar it is time to venture out onto the lake for sunset.

As well as enjoying watching the sunset from Inle Lake as it sets behind the mountains surrounding the lake, a sunset boat trip from Nyuangshwe town along a canal and onto the edge of the Inle Lake offers the opportunity to take some really good photographs of retired Inle Lake fishermen, who for a small tip of about US$1 will maneuver their boats around you so you can get the best light, and perform balancing acts and pose for photographs with the best light. It's optional, if you don't feel that you want to contribute they are not pushy about it.
