The Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Mangaluru Junction Superfast Express is a superfast train of the Indian Railways connecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai in Maharashtra and Mangaluru Junction of Karnataka. It is currently being operated with 12133/12134 train numbers on daily basis.
In 2009 It was ran as Mumbai–Karwar tri-weekly Super Fast express, after Within a year on 14 August 2010 the Union minister of state for railways K H Muniyappa flagged off Mumbai CST – Karwar Tri-weekly Super Fast Express Train, the service of which has now been extended to the city, from Mangalore Junction. and its frequency also increased from tri weekly to daily.
The 12133/ Mumbai CSMT – Mangaluru Junction SF Express is the fastest daily express train connecting Mangaluru to Mumbai in Konkan railway. Mangalore Junction (officially Mangaluru Junction) (Station code: MAJN) is a gateway to the port city of Mangaluru located at Darbar Hill, Padil, Mangaluru, 575007, coming under the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway. The station is a junction interconnecting Mangalore Central railway station with Kerala in the south, Maharashtra/Goa and Mangalore Sea Port in the north and Bengaluru-Chennai in the east. It is the busiest railway junction in the area, as all north- and southbound trains touch Mangalore through this station.
It was formerly called Kankanadi railway station. Later both were renamed as Mangalore Junction and Mangalore Central respectively to avoid confusion.
This is the first station in the Southern Railway zone after the Konkan Railway zone which ends at Thokur, the previous station up north.
The railway station has the daily connectivity to important cities of India like - Mumbai , New Delhi , Kolkata , Amritsar , Jaipur , Katra , Ahmadabad , Bengaluru , Nagpur, Chennai , Madurai , Erode , Tirunelveli , Ernakulam.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (officially Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) (station code: CSTM (mainline)/ST (suburban)), also known by its former name Victoria Terminus (station code: BBVT/VT), is a historic terminal train station and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
The terminus was designed by British born architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style. Its construction began in 1878, in a location south of the old Bori Bunder railway station, and was completed in 1887, the year marking 50 years of Queen Victoria's rule, the building being named, Victoria Terminus.
In March 1996 the station's name was changed to "Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus" (with station code CST). Both former initials "VT" and the current, "CST", are also commonly used.
The terminus is the headquarters of India's Central Railway. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India, serving as a terminal for both long-distance- and suburban trains.
CSMT has a total of 18 platforms—seven platforms are for suburban EMU trains and eleven platforms (Platform 8 to Platform 18) are for long-distance trains. Rajdhani, Duronto, Garib Rath and Tejas Express leave from Platform No. 18. Air-conditioned dormitories were inaugurated at CST on 16 April 2013.
The station has been the location of filming the "Jai Ho" song in Slumdog Millionaire and the 2011 Indian film Ra.One.
