Originally produced in 2017, "SARAB" ("MIRAGE") is a tragic show which highlights the difficulties faced by refugees around the world. The Palestinian performers use circus-theatre to reflect on their history, and the repetition of it today for millions of people.

“We were forced,
We had no other option,
Dragged to uncertain end,
On a road full of obstacles and checkpoints that we could barely pass,
Our destiny unknown,
During the long and rough journey,
We kept dreaming of the moment we would arrive,
Continuing our path towards the unknown.
Finally, we arrive.
Have we reached our goal?
After floating earth and oceans,
We discover the unexpected.
It really was nothing but a MIRAGE. “

Originellement produit en 2017, "SARAB" ("MIRAGE") est un spectacle tragique qui met en lumière les difficultés rencontrées par les réfugié·es à travers le monde. Les artistes palestinien·nes utilisent le cirque-théâtre pour réfléchir à leur histoire et à sa répétition aujourd'hui pour des millions de personnes.

Entraîné·es vers une fin incertaine,
Sur une route semée d'embûches et de barrages que nous pouvions à peine franchir,
Notre destin inconnu,
Au cours de ce long et pénible voyage,
Nous avons continué à rêver du moment où nous arriverions,
Poursuivant notre chemin vers l'inconnu.
Enfin, nous arrivons.
Avons-nous atteint notre but ?
Après avoir flotté sur la terre et les océans,
Nous découvrons l'inattendu.
Ce n'était vraiment rien d'autre qu'un MIRAGE."
