Ruth Ezell sat down with David Dwight IV, executive director, Forward Through Ferguson, to talk about steps to achieving racial equity in St. Louis.

He says corporate and political leaders from across the region have to take up this call to action. "We have to radically image a different St. Louis," says Dwight, and points to Forward Through Ferguson's 2039 Action Plan, which include these steps.

1. Advocate for implementing the policies and systems recommended by the Ferguson Commission.
2. Develop a culture and practice of equity, moving away from the past systems and institutions.
3. Sustain the work by investing in the people and money it is going to take to change 100 years of disinvestment.
