At least four young men were killed and dozens injured in violent clashes between police and protesters in Ladakh. The protesters have been demanding statehood for the federal territory, with demonstrations taking place intermittently for months. Support for statehood has grown steadily, but this violence is the worst the region has seen in decades. Families of the victims share their grief as BBC’s Majid Jahangir reports from Leh.
