for visiting roathang pass you must pre register your vehicle(which is highly impossible), so u need to take local taxi association support (you can fin in the Mall road). These people will arrange the cabs or Tempo for people for less cost. If you trust, your Tour cab people, Hotel people or any other except taxi association people, you will end up with putting lot more money.
For speciil alto cab it cost around 5K,
For tempo(12 seater) it will cost around 500 per person.
2) book the starting time around early morning 4 AM.
3) Book the tickets before one day of visit.
4) no need of special dress to purchase, you will get on the way to Rohtang pass for just 250/-
5) Have tasty maggieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee on top of Hill.. that taste different :).
